The pre-loan survey is information to be provided to the lending institution.
This includes:
- Aircraft and engine record(s), logbooks for recording hours flown, cycles, dated items, maintenance records and damage history
- Projection of major maintenance that is due
- Equipment – avionics and cabin changes, etc.
- Check of payment status on any existing engine, avionics and airframe contracts
- Check that necessary documentation is on board the aircraft
- A visual check of the interior and exterior of the aircraft
